10/13/16 South of Annapolis

I cannot believe we are finally on the way!  Life has been very, very busy for us this past summer and it feels good to know we are cruising and our bodies will finally have the opportunity to begin the relaxation process!  Every year we say "we have got to do things differently, because we are just way to busy, and when it's time to leave, we are so far behind prepping the boat, that we just exhaust ourselves to just saying "the heck with it and leaving." Even the morning we were leaving, we came to realize we bought the wrong size starting battery for the port side (no time to put it in till the morning of!!) and had to return it to West Marine.  That's how crazy our last minute things were!  Anyway, I am finally getting the blog up and running and I will be updating it throughout the day with pictures of what we've been up to!  Enjoy!
Bob is happy being a Captain again!
I brought my own parsley and cilantro!
The Blue Angels escorting us out!!
 Beautiful sight!
Even these guys!  We loved the air show!

Our new rides for the trip!
Thank you Jon & Jen for Bob's Father's Day gift!!
Some company we had with us today....

 Yikes!  Scarier head on!

What a beautiful moon!!!
Our anchorage in Annapolis Neck!
Happy Hour is here!  Thank you John & Jane for the Yeti's...you will be
seeing them quite often throughout our blog !!!
Meet John and Jane!  They just got engaged before
we left!  Congratulations!  Jane - you are one lucky girl!! and
of course the same goes for you John! If you look closely, you can
see the bill on Bob's hat as he was photo-bombing the picture...
luckily I was able to oust him!!

We made it to south of Annapolis and was very happy with that!  There was quite the air show going on during our travels today, and, believe it or not, I did get a little cleaning done.  And when I say "little" I mean little....but at least there is nothing on the floor anymore and we can walk freely!

  1. I'm sad that we never got a chance to see each other while you were home. This summer went by in a blur! Have a safe trip and hopefully we'll be able to catch up one of these days!
